The D-League is back in exciting fashion. Six squads suited up this past week to get the ball rolling again. Lets take a look at the action.

Team Sewell 55
Shane Cherry (Austin East) dropped 25 as Team Bridges outlasted a short handed Team Sewell 57-55 in the opening game of the 2021 Rocky Top D-League.
Cherry was joined in the scoring column by Cole Russell (Anderson County) and Reed Ownby (Sevier County) each with 11.
Lucas Garman (Maryville) led a trio of double digit scorers for Team Sewell with 15. Noah Brewer (Powell) chipped in with 13 while Berkeley Nero (Farragut) added 11.
Team Bridges (1-0) will take on Team Brewster (0-1) this Tuesday while Team Sewell (0-1) look to get on the right side of the ledger against Team Holt (0-1).
Team Boles 77
Team Holt 67
Marquel Patterson (South Doyle) and JaMichael Blair (Bearden) scored 24 and 23 points respectively as Team Boles got in the win column with a 77-67 victory over a tough Team Holt bunch.
Zach McNabb (Lenoir City) added 18 while T.J. Tipton (South Doyle) closed with 12 in the win.
Luke Cannon (Alcoa) led a foursome of double digit scorers for Team Holt with 19.
Alex Akard (Maryville) added 16, Cameron Mercer (Grave Christian) dropped 14 and Aaron Layne (Kingston) finished with 12 in the tough loss.
Team Holt (0-1) looks to right the ship this Tuesday taking on Team Sewell (0-1). Team Boles (1-0) goes for the division lead against another unbeaten squad Team Rogers (1-0).
Team Rogers 86
Team Brewster 61
Balance was the flavor of the day as Team Rogers placed five in double digits cruising to an 86-61 triumph over Team Brewster in opening day action at the Rocky Top D-League.
Drew Brillhart (Bearden) led the charge with 18 followed closely by Richard Bell (Northview Academy) with 17, Grady Robertson (William Blount) with 16, King Hubbard (Bearden) with 13 and Caden Windle (William Blount) with 12.
J.D. Harris (Knoxville Central) led all scorers in the loss with 20 points. Cade Capps (Stone Memorial) chipped in with 13.
Team Rogers (1-0) hopes to stay in the unblemished column as they welcome Team Boles (1-0) this Tuesday. Team Brewster (0-1) takes on Team Bridges (1-0).

Derik Smith (Fulton) dropped 20 as Team Webb fought off a determined Team Gregory 75-71 in Rocky Top D-League action this past Tuesday night.
Nic Hodge (Hardin Valley) pitched in with 18 while Ben Lisher 9Knoxville Webb) and Riley Gladwin (Hardin Valley) added 10 points each.
Jason Gainey (Knoxville West) was outstanding in his league debut dropping a game high 24 points in the narrow defeat.
Caleb Asbaty (Knoxville Catholic) added 18 in the loss.
Team Webb (1-0) looks to stay unbeaten as they take on Team Keeton (1-0) this Tuesday night. Team Gregory (0-1) looks to bounce back against Team Murphy (1-0).

Cooper Roberts (FBA) scored 17 as Team Keeton started off with a 59-45 victory in Rocky Top D-League action.
Javan Barger (Oliver Springs) finished with 13 in the win.
Drew Branson (Grainger) led all scorers with 18 in defeat.
Team Keeton (1-0) hopes to stay perfect as they welcome Team Webb (1-0) this Tuesday. Team Green (0-1) looks to bounce back as they meet Team McGhee (0-1).

Cade Murphy (Union County) took league scoring honors for the day dropping a 28 points as Team Murphy moved to the win column with an 84-61 win over Team McGhee.
Drake Ingram (Knoxville Webb) had a large game scoring 23 points in the victory.
Brennen Scott (Oak Ridge) led with 19 in the loss. Ty Pryor (Rockwood) added 15.
Team Murphy (1-0) looks to stay in the win column against Team Gregory (0-1) this Tuesday while Team McGhee (0-1) looks to move to the proper side of the ledger against Team Green (0-1).
