Remember, you can typically store your homemade Irish cream in the refrigerator for up to two months. However, that's not to say that it will always last that long. Some recipes may last for just a few weeks to a month rather than a full two months.
Does Bailey's Irish Cream go bad or expire? Generally as long as you don't subject it to temperature extremes it will last well beyond the official 2 year "best taste before" date. Over time the taste will change and the liquid tends to go a bit darker but only really noticeable if you do a side by side comparison.
It goes well with hot drinks, like coffee, hot chocolate, and even earl grey tea. You can mix Baileys with cold drinks, working wonders mixed with co*cktails like an espresso martini or a white Russian. In fact, you can mix Baileys with most spirits to make your favourite drink that extra bit yummier!
Manufacturers of cream liqueurs point to the effective preservative qualities of alcohol as the reason that refrigeration is not required. Baileys™ guarantees it's product for 2 years from the date of manufacture, opened or unopened, and suggests a storage temperature range of 0-25˚Celsius.
Add all of the ingredients to your blender and blend on high for about 30 seconds, or until everything is well combined. Transfer to a tightly sealed container (mason jars are great) and store in your refrigerator. It will keep for approximately 1-2 months.
Avoid curdling – I did some research as to ensure a life free of curdling and it's all about adding the alcohol slowly and being sure to use heavy cream. Alcohol is an acid so making irish cream with, say, whole milk will definitely break the milk, resulting in some serious coagulation.

For Kahlúa Original, we recommend a shelf life of 4 years. Actually, the product will be good for many more years, but the coffee impact fades over time so it won't give you the full flavor impact. Also, if you were to receive an old bottle of Kahlúa, you have to make sure it has never been opened or tampered with.
To sum it up, the shelf life of Kahlua is four years when stored properly and two months after opening. Yes, Kahlua will go bad if not properly kept or used within a few months after opening.
Baileys can be easily mixed with all manner of beverages to make a simple, creamy drink. The only rule is to avoid citrus or anything with a lot of citric acid, which makes it curdle. That means avoid juices and soda.
When you're knocking back the hard stuff: Bailey's Irish Cream served with cherries and unsalted nuts. You need your protein and fiber when you're drinking that much sugar!
Just like with other Irish creams, the best way to drink Baileys is straight and over ice. Baileys has such a well-balanced liqueur, that drinking it simply, is considered the ideal way to drink it.
Simply Called Food doesn't recommend freezing Baileys because it will make it hard to pour. If placed in the freezer, the alcohol in the Baileys will not freeze, but the cream will. So go ahead and open a bottle of Baileys and enjoy now and later.
Liqueur should be stored in a cool, dark place and ideally upright. Once opened, the bottle should be tightly closed and consumed within a year. Ensure clean and sterile working conditions to extend the shelf life of your liqueur. This also includes the use of sterilized bottles and equipment.
How long does Baileys last? Baileys Original lasts 2 years from the day of bottling, opened or unopened when stored at the optimum temperature (0 to 25°C/32 to 77°F). For other Baileys products, shelf life varies depending on the flavour.
