Hi Everyone, this Dragon Fruit Whipped Coffee (also called, “Dalgona coffee”) recipe is an iced coffee recipe that is colorful as it is delightful.

It has a base of cold milk (or vegan milk) mixed with dragon fruit powder, with ice, and then topped with lofty, whipped, coffee dusted with more dragon fruit powder.

Dragon fruit is in the cactus family. It grows in Mexico and Central America where it is native.

The most common types have bright green and hot pink/red outer scales. On the inside, it has white flesh with black seeds.

There is another variety called yellow dragon fruit that has yellow outer skin and the same inner white flesh and black seeds.

There is a less common type that has red pulp with black seeds too.

  1. Make the whipped coffee topping: Combine the instant coffee, water, and confectioner's sugar together, until you create a frothy whipped topping.
