If anyone knows the pitfalls of being a world class model it's Christie Brinkley.
So it goes without saying that she is the best person to advise her teenage daughter Sailor as she launches her own career.
The pretty 15-year-old has made her cover girl debut for the July/August issue of Bella NYC and is currently featured in Teen Vogue.

While the daughter's pretty in her own right, I see zero resemblance between them.

The time of models that look like Christie and her daughter have long seen passed. Both are too generically, girl-next-door pretty and that's not what you find on most runways or editorials. She might have luck with commerical modeling and might even book something Ralph Lauren like (you know generic WASP themed), and with her connection to her mom she might get a few other things, but her face isn't striking enough for anything else.

Then again, with Kate Upton on the scene maybe the industry is going back to the buxom blonde/wholesome look. Who knows.

The girl is cute, but she's not "model" pretty, just like Kim Basinger's daughter is cute, but not "model" pretty.

Damn, her daughter is a change of life baby. She had her when she was in her mid 40's. I can't imagine raising a teenager in my 60's.

Near like her but not exactly and yeah she needs to work on her Model

Too much airbrushing, it would have been nice to see a little age in Christie...they made her skin as smooth and wrinkle free as her daughter.

I remember her son's birth father was the guy Christie left Billy Joel for after they survived a crash on some mountain. Can't believe I remember that crap. The marriage lasted a hot minute, Christie talked major trash about him and then Sailor's father adopted him after marrying Christie. And that last marriage ended in a mess too.

Christie is probably a mess.
